We Need Rec Coaches!
Our volunteer coaches are what makes Snohomish Recreational Soccer a success! If you would like to coach a Rec team(s) this season, please sign up HERE. If you have any questions about coaching rec contact our rec director, Zach Johndrow, HERE. All Rec coaches receive their $50 Volunteer credit and cones and pennies are provided for the team.
Payment Options
This season recreational families have the option of paying the fees in full at registration or splitting the payment up into two payments. Half the payment due at registration and half the payment due two months later. The $50 Volunteer fee is refundable upon completion of those 2 hours and the $50 Raffle tickets can be sold to recover that fee.
Volunteer Hours
Each season many families choose to volunteer for the club and receive a refund of their $50 Volunteer Fee. There are many opportunities for families to complete their 2 volunteer hours through out the season.
Opportunities Include: Raffle Ticket Sign Out, US Club Regionals, Kla Ha Ya Adult Tournament, Bigfoot Tournament. Rec Coaches also receive credit for their volunteer hours.
Team Requests
We will do our best to ensure that returning players who register during this open period will return to their team from the previous year. Specific requests for teams, coaches, or teammates may be given consideration, but will not be guaranteed.
To request a specific team, be sure include the coach's name in the field that asks for PREVIOUS COACH. That field is used to place players.
Rec Raffle
New this season, raffle ticket sales were designed to help offset the rising costs of maintaining Stocker Fields. Providing a top quality complex where all our teams can train and play within our community is our top priority. Raffle sales enable us to provide this when we face such challenges as flooding and vandalism. Selling a booklet of tickets is optional, if you prefer not to sell the tickets assigned to your player, you can simply return the booklet and your fees will remain the same. Tickets will be distributed on Picture Day - September 13-16
Team Snap
From team chat, last-minute alerts and scheduling — to assignments, payment collection and real-time game sharing Team Snap makes it communication easy. This tool will be provided to all teams, free of charged by the club so that coaches can keep in touch with their players and the club can post important dates and alerts.
