All families that have children registered with SYSC will
be required to volunteer three hours per year (May-April).
This requirement is per family, not per player and volunteer
hours can be spread out over the course of the competitive
year. Areas of volunteer help include: summer tournaments,
United tryouts, concessions, field maintenance, office
help/cleaning, office maintenance, phone calling, league
parking duty, league field clean-up and league field
marshal.
Any family that cannot or does not wish to
participate in their three hours of volunteer time with SYSC
can “buy-out” that time for $100 per season, per family. The
decision to “buy-out” needs to be made at the time of
registration.
