Registration Policy

On-line registration for recreational soccer takes place in May of every year. Notices will be sent out to all Snohomish School District elementary schools, and both a mailing and e-mail notice will be sent to all registered players from the previous year.

Players are registered to teams on a first-come, first-served basis, with returning players rostered to their previous yearís team before new players are added. ONLY those players that are paid in full however, will be rostered to a team.

If you register within the registration period but do not pay your registration fee either by credit card or check at the time of registration, one reminder e-mail will be sent. If payment is made after that point and the requested teamís roster is already full, the player will be placed on a different team on a space-available basis.

Players who register AFTER the registration period will assessed a $20 per-player late fee and will be added to a team as space is available. SYSC does not accept parent/coach requests for any player registration.

SYSC does not guarantee a player being rostered to the team he/she has played on the previous year or wishes to play on for the current year. SYSCís only guarantee is that as long as the player registration has been processed on-line within the registration period, that player will be placed on a team for the season.

If a coach from the previous year does not return as a coach for the current year AND/OR there are not enough players to maintain the number of teams from the previous year in any given age division, it is at the discretion of the club representative to combine teams as needed.
